Change is in the air...

We have some very exciting news to share with you, the Food Forest Cafe has officially sold! We are over the moon to have found such a wonderful fit to hand the business over to; someone who shares a lot of the same passions as we do and cares deeply about plant-based nutrition. We can't wait to be a part of this transition and to see where this humble vegan Peterborough born restaurant will be in 6 months, a year, and beyond! The two of us will continue to run and operate as usual until June 1st when the new owner, Laura, takes complete possession. You may see her shadowing during the latter part of May, please welcome her warmly and openly! Between now and then we would absolutely love to see and bid farewell to all of the beautiful and familiar faces we have gotten to know over the years, we would have never reached this point without you and all your support.

Meet Laura:

"I could not be more excited to announce that I will be taking over Food Forest Cafe! Adam & Katie have done an incredible job keeping Peterborough healthy, happy, and mindful, and I will continue to do the same by providing nourishing food that reduces the footprint on our planet. Growing up in the Peterborough area I understand the importance of having a restaurant where you can fully trust the quality of the products, as well as know where the products come from. With an education in holistic nutrition and a heart full of compassion, I look forward to keeping the integrity of Food Forest while adding some of my own delicious plant-based and gluten-free creations. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into this amazing like-minded community. Together, we will continue to enrich the world by making conscious decisions that not only benefit our own health but the health of our beautiful earth and its creatures.
